They will contact all 3 credit bureaus on your behalf to place alerts on your credit files.  They also use their own scanning system to look around the web and see that your personal information isn’t being used against your will.  They scan for your credit card numbers, social security number, bank account numbers, name, and addresses.

The wallet protection program is great assistance in case your wallet is lost or stolen.  They take proactive measure to ensure thieves cannot use your credit cards or personal information.  TrustedID also takes steps to reduce junk mail and provide anti-spyware protection.  The service comes with one yearly free credit report from all 3 bureaus.  The total protection package is backed by a $1,000,000 service warranty to cover out of pocket costs associated with identity theft.  You should read their website for complete details on the warranty. 

Overall TrustedID is a very competitive, proactive package.  This company goes out and takes the most proactive steps in identity theft prevention.  The one down side is that while they offer you with a yearly credit report, the packages do not include regular credit reporting monitoring.
